All manner of concerts are held at The Schermerhorn, not just symphonic. Nashville also has a amphitheater downtown with outdoor concerts during warms months of the year. Numerous rock, pop and country artists have concerts at Nissan Stadium, Bridgestone Arena and a the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC). TPAC is also host to numerous Broadway plays and musicals. Lower Broadway, between The Ryman Auditorium and the Cumberland River is full of honky-tonks where you can enjoy many up-and-coming artists while you soak up the vibe of Music City. Belmont University has lots to offer in the Troutt Theater and Fisher Center for the Performing Arts. Every year Christmas at Belmont is held at The Fisher Center and broadcast nationally on PBS.
