Charleston is the only destination where neither partner visits the court: Charleston County's application is online, though it must be on file 24 hours before the license is issued, and the license arrives by email two business days after you apply. In Nashville, Gatlinburg, Savannah, and Sedona both partners apply in person, with same-day issuance and no waiting period.
Do you obtain the marriage license for us in any city?
No. In every state the couple applies for the license themselves and pays the fee directly to the county. Elopements Inc. does not collect or pay it and cannot obtain the license on your behalf. What the company does provide is step-by-step guidance and timing the application around your ceremony date.
How many venues and guests does each destination allow?
Nashville has four venues (Belmont Mansion, Nashville Wedding Chapel, Spring Haven Mansion, Centennial Park), Sedona four, Gatlinburg three, and Charleston and Savannah two each. Guest counts run from couple-only up to 40; Belmont Mansion supports the largest count at 40, smaller venues cap lower, and each venue page lists its exact limit.
