Yes. Both partners must apply in person at the Sevier County Clerk's Office in Sevierville (about 15 minutes from Gatlinburg) and pay the $100 fee directly to the county — Elopements Inc. cannot obtain the license on your behalf. Tennessee has no waiting period or blood test requirement.

Mountain weather is unpredictable, but our team monitors conditions closely. We have backup plans for each venue, and misty mountain conditions often produce the most dramatic and beautiful photos.

Permits are required for ceremonies in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park area. All permits and venue fees are included in your package — we handle everything.
