Yes. Both partners must apply in person at the Yavapai County Clerk of Superior Court in Cottonwood or Camp Verde (or any Arizona county clerk) and pay the $83 fee directly to the county — Elopements Inc. cannot obtain the license on your behalf. Arizona has no waiting period.

Sedona is beautiful year-round. Spring (March–May) and fall (October–November) have the most comfortable temperatures. Summer is hot but sunsets are spectacular. Winter offers cooler temps and occasional dusting of snow on the red rocks.

Yes, permits are required for ceremonies on Coconino National Forest land (which includes most Sedona red rock locations). All permits are included in your package — we handle the paperwork.

All Sedona venues offer our Friends and Family Package which accommodates up to 20 guests. The open red rock settings are well-suited for intimate gatherings.

Comfortable shoes are essential — some red rock venues involve short walks on uneven terrain. Light, flowy fabrics photograph beautifully against the desert landscape. We recommend avoiding stilettos for outdoor locations.

Sunset ceremonies are incredibly popular in Sedona and we highly recommend them. The red rocks glow golden during golden hour, creating unforgettable photos. Your photographer will help time everything perfectly.

Every Sedona venue offers the Friends and Family package — a two-hour ceremony for up to 20 guests at $1,875 ($2,275 at Crescent Moon Ranch) — which covers the venue, permits, a licensed Arizona officiant, a professional photographer, and coordination. Videography ($1,075) and RAW files are the only optional add-ons.

Spring weekend dates book 4–8 months out — the longest lead time of any of our destinations. Fall books 3–4 months ahead, and winter dates are often available inside a month. Arizona has no waiting period on the $83 marriage license and it stays valid for 12 months, so paperwork is never the limiting factor.
