Forsyth Park (the fountain + live-oak promenade) is the most-photographed and most-recognizable Savannah backdrop. Davenport House is the most-private — a walled 1820 Federal-style courtyard on Columbia Square with a built-in indoor rain plan.
Mid-March through early May (azaleas + full Spanish moss, 65–78°F) and mid-October through November (softer light, fewer tourists) are the two photographic peaks. Summer (June–August) is humid with afternoon thunderstorms; we shift summer renewals to early morning. Winter renewals are mild (50–65°F) and produce the most architectural-looking photos.
Peak spring and fall weekends book 3-4 months out. Off-peak weekdays are often available inside 30 days. Davenport House has slightly less availability than Forsyth Park because it's a working museum with a limited event calendar.
