Both partners must apply in person at the Chatham County Probate Court and pay the fee directly to the county ($66 with premarital counseling certificate, $86 without) — Elopements Inc. cannot obtain the license on your behalf. Georgia has no waiting period, so you can get your license and marry the same day.

At Forsyth Park, packages accommodate up to 10 guests (Getaway Plus) or up to 20 guests (Friends and Family). At the Davenport House, packages accommodate up to 10 or 20 guests.

Forsyth Park is our primary Savannah venue and offers the classic Savannah experience with live oaks, Spanish moss, and the iconic fountain. It's one of the most photographed locations in the city.

Savannah is perfect for a long elopement weekend. The historic district is entirely walkable with incredible restaurants, rooftop bars, ghost tours, and nearby Tybee Island beach — all within a short drive.

Both cities offer Southern charm and Spanish moss, but Savannah has a more intimate, walkable feel with its famous town squares. Charleston offers a wider variety of venue styles and a larger dining scene. Both are beautiful — it comes down to personal preference.

Elopements Inc. handles the rest.

Yes. Every Savannah package includes a professional elopement photographer: 100–150 edited photos with the one-hour Getaway Plus ($1,275 at Forsyth Park, $1,875 at the Davenport House) and 150–200 with the two-hour Friends and Family ($1,675 and $2,775). Images arrive in a shareable online gallery with high-resolution downloads and print ordering; RAW files are an optional $200–$250 add-on.

You meet your coordinator, officiant and photographer at Forsyth Park's fountain or the Davenport House courtyard for one to two hours of coverage with up to 20 guests, then take portraits through the historic district under the live oaks. We handle permits, the timeline and returning the signed license to Chatham County; edited photos arrive in your online gallery.
