Secret Slick Rock
Secret Slick Rock is a private creek-side ceremony location with smooth red sandstone slabs sloping down to Oak Creek. The site is less crowded than the popular overlooks, with the sound of moving water as your ceremony soundtrack. Couples who don't mind getting their shoes wet often step into the shallow creek for some of the most memorable photographs in our entire Sedona gallery.

Crescent Moon Ranch
Crescent Moon Ranch puts Cathedral Rock — Sedona's most photographed formation and one of its four major energy vortex sites — directly behind your ceremony with a manicured grassy meadow along Oak Creek as your aisle. Baby Bell Rock
Baby Bell Rock is the smallest and most intimate of our Sedona venues — a compact red rock formation near Bell Rock, with natural cove acoustics that turn even quietly-spoken vows into something resonant. For two-person elopements or gatherings of 5–10 people, no Sedona venue feels quite this private or acoustically alive.

Best Time to Elope in Sedona
March through May is peak Sedona elopement season — 65–80°F, wildflowers in the desert, clear skies, and air clarity that's rare anywhere else. October and early November are equally beautiful with cottonwoods along Oak Creek turning brilliant gold. Summer midday is too hot (100°F+ in July and August) but morning ceremonies (7–9 AM) and evening slots (5–7 PM) work even in peak summer. Winter Sedona is mild and occasionally produces the rare gift of snow on red rocks for genuinely unique photographs.
Arizona Marriage License (Yavapai County)
Apply at the Yavapai County Clerk of Superior Court (offices in Cottonwood or Camp Verde, both within easy reach of Sedona). $83 fee, no waiting period, valid for 12 months — the longest validity of any state in our network. Both partners must appear in person with valid government photo ID and Social Security numbers. Arizona requires 2 witnesses at the ceremony itself who must be 18+; your photographer and officiant count.

Sedona elopement packages (see how much it costs to elope in Sedona) start at $1,875 for most red rock venues (Yavapai Vista, Secret Slick Rock, Baby Bell Rock) and $2,275 at Crescent Moon Ranch — the higher price reflects the venue's premium federal permit and the demand. Every package includes the venue with all Coconino National Forest fees paid, a licensed Arizona officiant, a professional photographer for the package's full duration, edited high-resolution images, and ceremony coordination.

Beyond the Ceremony
Sedona pairs naturally with longer Arizona getaways. The Grand Canyon's South Rim is a 2-hour drive north, easily a day trip or overnight extension. Closer in: hike the Cathedral Rock trail at sunrise (1.2 miles round trip, vertical), drive Oak Creek Canyon up to Flagstaff, ride a Pink Jeep through the back roads, or visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross built into the red rocks.
