Both partners must apply in person at the Sevier County Clerk's Office in Sevierville (about 15 minutes from Gatlinburg) and pay the fee directly to the county ($41 in cash for out-of-state couples, $101 for Tennessee residents) — Elopements Inc. cannot obtain the license on your behalf. Tennessee has no waiting period or blood test requirement.

Our packages accommodate up to 10 guests with the Getaway Plus Package or up to 20 guests with the Friends and Family packages. Willow Ridge and the Gatlinburg Wedding Chapel also offer extended packages.

Mountain weather is unpredictable, and every ceremony goes ahead rain or shine; at the Gatlinburg Wedding Chapel the ceremony is indoors anyway. Misty mountain conditions often produce the most dramatic and beautiful photos.

Permits are required for ceremonies in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park area. All permits and venue fees are included in your package — we handle everything.
